Big Think is an online community designed to extend the conversation about important topics, global issues and creative ideas by connecting people who want to share their thoughts or ideas with one another. As the website introduction video states, “your idea lives and is shared with a global meeting of the minds.”

As educators, the ability to engage in an extended conversation on topics ranging from the arts, technology, politics, science, medicine, history and current events takes those lunch table conversations to a whole new level.
