I am attending the Independent School Leader Institute at Harvard University this week. The line up includes Steve Seidel, Howard Gardner, Pat Bassett and Patricia Graham among other notable education researchers in the field. Today the agenda included looking at the skill sets needed to be successful in a 21st century economy. The latest on neuroscience and cognitive science and how students learn and the latest in the area of thinking on Web 2.0 technology, wikinomics and Carol Dweck’s new book, Mindset.
